I just came back from Melaka few hours ago. Of course I will bring along my camera to take few shots from the wedding. First, I have to meet the Official Photographer to greet him/her as an OP. My eyes keep on searching for the gear carried by anyone suspected ’shooter’
I found one, ok… Nikon Gang…
After having my light lunch, my eyes stopped at a gentleman held a complete gear of Nikon. Ok. this is the man. Greet him & say hi. I don’t want to interrupt him at the moment by start a conversation. Later maybe…
After a while, he & his colleagues went out to take a break while the bride is preparing her make up & everything. He met me & approached me to ‘lepak’ together. We had few ‘puff’ at the corner. The conversation started greatfully. We talked about photography industry. I introduced myself as a newbee in this great & huge industry. He just laugh. x percaya. aiyya… betullah… =) After bla bla bla we moved to the other corner waiting for the groom to come.
So now I’ve given the greenlight to shoot. Thanks man. He is a good photographer with ethic & full of creativity. I told his friend about www.photoskool.net I learn alot there. Still learning…
En Rashidi (Official Photographer) invited me to join them for outdoor session shooting but I can’t make it. I have to rush to KL by evening. Thanks for the approach, man. I added 3 photographers on my Melaka Gang today. heheheh. Don’t forget to ring me when you want to Teh Tarik in KL.
I just wonder when I shoot at a few places, I noticed that few of person who carrying the great great gear doesn’t want to say ‘hi’ or at least smile at the Official Photographer of the day before you block the view. At least we could have fun together. We have the same interest, man… right bro? hahahah! We have to change the way we looked at people… No matter how long you’re in the industry… Sharing is good… You got a lot!!! Kudos to the photographer!!!
I have post a few shots on the day… Enjoy!!!

Selamat Pengantin Baru Anis!
